The UCR Choral Society studies and performs significant choral literature from all periods of music history. The ensemble is open to UCR students, faculty and members of the community at large. The chorus performs several times a year on campus, in Riverside area churches, and/or performance venues throughout southern California. The conductor is G. Edward Bruner, DMA.
The UC Riverside Choral Society rehearses on TR, 2:30-3:40 PM in ARTS 157. Auditions for the UCR Choral Society are held at the beginning of the fall, winter, and spring quarters. The audition consists of vocalizes and exercises demonstrating the performer’s musicianship. The class may be taken for 1-2 credits and may be repeated.
